Experiences & Qualifications
Having started his career in a conglomerate environment, our founding partner, Jason Saw was exposed to corporate culture and risk management environment at a young age. He brings along with more than 23 years of experience in strategic planning, corporate finance & investment, sales management, business development as well as a start-up entrepreneur. Over the years, he has done various deal structuring & design, advised on commercial rights protection as well as corporate value optimization. Among his track records, Jason’s business development record was around RM 20 mil revenue annually for M&E equipment manufacturer; as a management consultant, he advised multiple SMEs as well as conglomerates on their corporate matters, including government agencies in strategic planning; he assisted a telco investment holding company to execute acquisition and fund raising; and on a more recent note, Jason advised local and foreign SMEs on their commercial rights and contract matters. Academically, Jason is qualified with a mechanical diploma, marketing degree (UK), LLB (Uni of London), and corporate finance certification from Harvard Club.
Prior to joining Tat Advisory as a partner managing the Communication Advisory division, JW was and still is, very much an aggressive entrepreneur who participates in various commercial ventures, directly and/or indirectly. Having graduated with 1st Class Honors in International Business & Marketing and obtained her MBA with Distinction, she is very much involved in marketing communications focusing on consumer markets.
Growing up during the emergence of Gigs Economy, JW started her career at a young age doing freelancing works for SMEs where she accumulated her experience and helped her shaping her expertise over the years. Creativity is at the heart of her approach to problem-solving as she thrives on generating innovative communication solutions that drive efficiency and effectiveness of the marketing and promotional activities for the SMEs.
